Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) for B2B Partners

Everything you need to know about catalog synchronization, ordering workflows, multi-chain USD deposits, and cancellation procedures.

1. Account & Catalog Integration

Q:Which plans are available in the Wholesale API?

The B2B Wholesale API provides active travel data packages across 190+ countries and regions worldwide, connecting to Tier-1 mobile network operators. All plans are data-only roaming bundles optimized for travel connectivity and VoIP applications.

Q:How often should our systems synchronize the plans catalog?

Partners are strongly advised to update and synchronize their local plans database at least every 6 hours. Calling GET /api/b2b/v1/plans every 6 hours ensures your system always has the latest destination pricing, network operator lists, and active package codes.

Q:Can wholesale rates change?

Yes. Wholesale rates are dynamic and subject to real-time adjustments by underlying mobile network operators. If a carrier updates wholesale pricing, order placement for an outdated price will return an HTTP 409 Conflict prompting your system to refresh the catalog.

Q:How can our systems safeguard against unexpected price adjustments?

When placing an order via POST /api/b2b/v1/orders, include the optional expectedPriceUsd field matching what your system cached from /plans. If the wholesale price has changed on the network, our gateway will reject the order with HTTP 409 Conflict rather than charging a different price.

2. Ordering & Real-Time Provisioning

Q:How quickly is an eSIM provisioned?

eSIM provisioning occurs in real time, typically taking between 2 to 5 seconds. The synchronous API response includes the direct QR code image URL, manual LPA activation code (LPA:1$...), SM-DP+ server address, and matching ID.

Q:What HTTP timeout should our backend configure for orders?

We strongly recommend configuring your HTTP client with a 15 to 20-second timeout for POST /api/b2b/v1/orders to accommodate carrier network profile allocation during peak roaming traffic.

Q:How does idempotency work to prevent duplicate charges?

Always supply your internal transaction reference in the partnerRefId field. If a duplicate order request is received with the same partnerRefId, our gateway safely returns the previously fulfilled order without debiting your balance a second time.

Q:How can we re-fetch an order’s QR code if our client times out?

Call GET /api/b2b/v1/orders/{orderId} with either your internal order ID, ICCID, or partnerRefId to retrieve the complete order record and provisioning credentials anytime.

3. Wallet, Deposits & Settlement

Q:What currencies are supported for settlement?

All wholesale catalog pricing, order deductions, and ledger balances are denominated and settled in USD ($).

Q:How do I fund my corporate USD balance?

You can generate a multi-chain deposit address via the portal or via POST /api/b2b/v1/balance/deposit. We accept USDT (Polygon, Arbitrum, Tron) and USDC (Base, Polygon, Arbitrum).

Q:How long does it take for a deposit to reflect in my balance?

Deposits are credited automatically to your USD ledger upon 1 blockchain confirmation (typically 30–60 seconds on Base, Polygon, or Arbitrum).

Q:What is the minimum deposit amount?

The minimum deposit is $10 USD, in multiples of $10. Funds deposited into your corporate wallet never expire.

Q:What happens if my wallet balance runs out during an order?

The API will reject the order with HTTP 402 Payment Required, specifying the required USD amount. No order will be created, and your customer will not receive an invalid profile.

4. Cancellations & Wholesale Refunds

Q:Can a provisioned eSIM plan be cancelled?

Yes, provided the eSIM has never been scanned, installed, or connected to a mobile network, subject to the plan’s activationPolicy.

Q:How does the cancellation process work?

Submit a cancellation request via POST /api/b2b/v1/orders/{orderId}/cancel. Our gateway verifies that zero data has been consumed and submits the electronic revocation to our mobile network carrier. Once confirmed, 100% of the wholesale cost is instantly credited back to your USD wallet.

Q:Can Type 3 plans (Activated Upon Purchase) be cancelled?

No. Plans that activate upon purchase are strictly non-refundable as network carrier validity commences immediately at generation.

Q:How are refunds paid back to partners?

Approved cancellations are credited 100% directly to your Prepaid USD Wallet Balance. We do not disburse refunds to external crypto addresses or banking rails.

Q:Where can I read the full cancellation policy?

Please read our full Enterprise B2B Cancellation & Wholesale Refund Policy at https://partner.connectmeguru.com/cancellation-policy.

5. Top-Ups & Recharges

Q:Can an end-user recharge an existing eSIM without scanning a new QR code?

Yes. If the plan indicates topUpAllowed: true, call GET /api/b2b/v1/orders/{iccid}/topup-plans to discover compatible bundles, then call POST /api/b2b/v1/orders/{iccid}/topup to apply the bundle over-the-air to that same ICCID.

Q:Are top-up recharges refundable?

No. Top-up bundles take effect over-the-air immediately upon provisioning and cannot be cancelled or refunded.

6. Telemetry & Technical Support

Q:How can I check real-time mobile data usage for an active eSIM?

Call GET /api/b2b/v1/orders/{iccid}/usage. The endpoint returns live carrier telemetry including total bytes, consumed bytes, remaining allowance, and percentage used.
